What's New This Season?
Artist-In-Residence Program
Beginning in Fall 2024, MCG Jazz is launching an Artist-In-Residence program with pianist, composer Ray Angry. He will perform as a part of the season and contribute to other programming throughout the season and work closely with local young musicians through workshops, masterclasses, and mentorship opportunities.

Titans of contemporary jazz and longtime friends Lee Ritenour and Dave Grusin perform works from their new album BRASIL, a “bracing survey of contemporary Brazilian sounds.” Ritenour has had an impressive career as a guitarist with over 40 albums, a Grammy, and many other awards. Grusin, active in music since the late 1950s, is an Academy Award winner, 10-time Grammy winner and regarded as one of the true legends in Jazz.
